Something so small can cause something so huge…

Has anyone ever told you something that touched your heart so deeply that it just changed your whole perspective on yourself? I have that, and I’m still so speechless! Times like this when you realize who your friends are, and who your sisters are. :)

Well, back in MY day…

Sometimes I miss being a child. Being young, and reckless and energetic and excited by the most mundane things (these included my favourite TV show (at the time) Fairly Odd Parents - by now I have moved on to the MUCH more mature and intelligent show Phineas and Ferb; suck on THAT, 5-year-old me!). Things were so much simpler back then!

I believe, that if we all injected more of our childhood-selves into our teenage-personalities we would easily avoid many issues that we are faced with today. For example, when I was 5, if I didn’t want someone near me, I simply said PISS OFF and then got on with my life, as per usual! Nowadays it’s so much more complicated, because it doesn’t really matter how AWFUL and REPULSIVE someone may be, we just can’t tell them to piss off, because we don’t want to hurt their feelings or something deep like that (BTW I’m talking about strictly AWFUL people, my good friends are like angels).

This is why I plan to be more like 5-year-old Mikayla, because sometimes 15-year-old Mikayla is too nice. Live with less inhibitions, less tolerance and less homework; so that I may live with more freedom, more self expression, more energy and more joy. Right, I don’t know about you, but I’m off for a round of Fairly Odd Parents! Have a delightful day! Miky xx
